Basic Land Stabilization Treatments

The basic method for stabilizing land is simple and effective.

1. Clean it;
2. Add topsoil;
3. Grade it;
4. Plant grass and trees; and
5. Surround with a post and rail fence.

It is a treatment that is cost effective, easy to maintain, and attractive to the eye. Transformation happens quickly, in a matter of weeks in the spring and fall. These sites are selected to create maximum visual impact and are intended as well-maintained placeholders until a future use is determined for the land.
